Aunt Jenn K is doing great!!! We are all so happy. Now we just can't wait to see her on her next visit to PA.

Mira Belle is getting so Big!

Mira Belle is almost 7 months old already. She's 19.4 pounds (Pia is only 24.4 pounds!) and in 9-12 month clothes. And as you can see, she is sitting up now. Everyday she makes a different sound and is just about crawling. She's a very sweet baby and loves her sister.

Pia stayed at Grama and Pop's house with Ryan, so she wore Uncle Marty and Uncle Mike's old Superman jammies. How cute is that?

Pia is really getting good at communicating what she wants, needs, likes or in this case what doesn't like. It is strange to be able to have a conversation with her.

Dinner Time

Pia decided that she has to feed Mira Belle. She would not take no for an answer. It ended up that she did a pretty good job. Of course, trying to scoop the food off Mira's chin didn't go that well.

While the rest of the kids were in the fort, Mira Belle was having her own fun with Grama.

Birthday Parties!

Eliza's birthday party was FUN!!! And everyone looked so pretty.

Aunt Theresa's birthday was great, too. All the kids had a great time in the fort.

Then they formed a band and had a sing along! Thank goodness for Uncle Mike.

Loving the Caterpillars

Pia loves to find 'patatillers' and play with them. She has also been enjoying her swing and Tela and Eliza's slide. She's a busy girl.

Mira Belle Gabbing Away

Mira Belle is really starting to find her voice. I'm surprised she can get a word in with her sister around.

Rolling both ways

Mira Belle started rolling from her belly to her back and then back over again. We're making progress. By the way, the romper she has on is a size 6-9 month and she'll be 6 months next week. I think it's time for 9 and 12 month clothes! Pia was just in 3-6 month clothes at this age. Polar opposites already.

Pia decided to ask the question, "Why?" for the 1st time this morning. Unfortunately, it was why she can't stand at the counter and eat her breakfast instead of in her booster seat. I feel a goose egg coming soon.

Of course, Mira Belle wanted to join in the fun.

Then the girls enjoyed the swings that Daddy put up for them.

Pia - 20 Months

Pia is 20 months old and growing fast. She is now talking very well and unfortunately it's not always what you want to hear. 'I can't open it,' 'i do it myself,' 'no, stop it' are some of her favorites. She very independent and strong willed. Sometimes it's amusing and sometimes it just pushes your buttons. All in all, it's fun watching her learn and grow.

Pia loved the wooden shoes that Grama & Pop got for her in Holland. Perhaps alittle too much.

Easter 2009

Easter morning brought Pia a basket and Mira Belle a activity center for the patio.

The girls looked so pretty in their Easter outfits.

Pia enjoyed some of her spoils after dinner.

And Pia enjoyed playing with her Easter present with Nanny and Aunt Addie.
