Pia's Sitting Up

After her bath, Pia decided to have a seat on her changing table

Cousin William's Christening

We bundled Pia up to go see cousin William get baptised.

Then it was off to MiMa and Pop's to visit with cousins Jenna and Ryan.

What a long day!

5 Months Old

At 5 months, Pia has a new trick up her sleeve every day.

Her tongue is her favorite toy. Twisting, curling and anything else she can manage.

Pia's feet actually touch the floor in her car! She loves playing with her toys while driving.

She still needs a lift in her jumperoo. What fun!

Her balance is just about good enough to sit up on her own... maybe next week.

And she's even learning how to use Daddy's cell phone.

New Year's Eve

After on last look at her Christmas tree...

Pia was off to celebrate the new year with some friends.

It was kind of fun at first...


...but, this is getting a little ridiculous.

Pia wouldn't tell us what she asked for from Santa.

4 Months Old!

Pia is four months old and the Doctor says she is doing great.

She is 14 pounds 2 ounces and 23.5 inches long which is still a bit of a peanut, but she thriving in spite of that fact.

There have been alot of '1st' moments this month. She started sleeping through the night the end of November and it started a snowball effect - her 1st snowfall was December 2nd, by the way. She's playing on her belly more. She's starting to reach for toys and sucking her thumb when she doesn't have her whole fist in her mouth. Rice cereal is now her nighttime snack and she can sit up very well with assistance. It's also exciting that she fits into her 3 month clothes finally and hats fit as well.

The best 1st, however, is Pia's laugh! It may be the most wonderful sound I've ever heard.
